A Vision Beyond Games.

Brouillard is more than a video game studio—it is a creative movement, a bridge between art and interactivity. Founded in Brittany, France, by Tristan Allaire, known as ZendSeeker, the studio carries a singular mission: to make people dream and to open the world of gaming to all sensitive souls.

At Brouillard, video games are not just designed; they are sculpted, painted, and composed. The studio thrives on collaboration, working with artists across disciplines—painters, photographers, sculptors, jewelry designers—to transform each project into a living, breathing masterpiece. Every game is a fusion of creative energies, a meeting point of distinct artistic worlds that coalesce into something truly unique.

Beyond the creative process, Brouillard exists to push the boundaries of what a video game can be. In an industry often driven by mechanics and convention, the studio takes a different path—treating games as an art form where interactivity meets emotion, where design and atmosphere become storytelling tools. It is not about mass appeal but about crafting immersive worlds that resonate on a deeper, almost subconscious level. Every project is an invitation to step into the unknown, to experience something that lingers in memory like a dream.

Founded in 2025, Brouillard’s origins trace back four years earlier, growing organically, step by step, like a path unfolding in the fog. The studio’s motto,

“Step by step through the mist”

reflects this slow, deliberate evolution—a journey toward crafting a new kind of gaming experience.

The Heart of
the Mist.

At the heart of this vision is Tristan Allaire. His path began with a deep fascination for 2D and 3D art, rooted in photography, software engineering, and an architectural passion shaped by Brutalism, surrealism, and the interplay of light and shadow. His distinct visual signature—his patte, as the French say—became instantly recognizable, first in static imagery, then in movement, as he brought his art to life through game design.

Over the years, what started as a personal exploration evolved into something greater. The first prototype game, once an intimate experiment, soon demanded more than a single creator could provide. Realizing this, Tristan conceived a more focused project, assembling a team to give it form. In English, we might say,

“The more, the merrier,”

but in French, the philosophy runs deeper:

“Alone, we go faster. Together, we go further.”

Brouillard reached its first major milestone just a year ago with the formation of the first project’s core team, laying the foundation for its debut game: FAR FRESNEL.

Each title will be crafted as a singular artistic statement, developed in close collaboration with a handpicked team of artists and shaped by a carefully curated set of influences. Every game is designed to be more than interactive—it is meant to be felt. Players won’t simply navigate a world; they will step into an atmosphere where beauty and unease intertwine, where shadows and silence speak as loudly as the music, where every detail is intentional. The goal is to integrate different angles on emotions such as wonder, nostalgia, solitude, even surreal unease, transforming each playthrough into a deeply personal journey for the player.

Step by Step,
the Mist is Lifting.

Brouillard is a gateway—an invitation for original artists to step into the world of gaming, to bring their visions to life in ways never seen before, and for players to experience these creations firsthand, immersing themselves in worlds shaped by raw artistic expression.

Tristan believes Brouillard’s studio is the place where gaming is more than just entertainment—it’s an ever-evolving canvas for artistic expression. From jewelry design and cocktail mixology to graphic design, architecture, and sculpture, every creative discipline holds the potential to inspire new and unexpected gaming experiences.

The Studio’s mission is to break boundaries and redefine what a video game can be. By weaving diverse artistic influences into his projects, Tristan crafts interactive worlds that resonate with those who see art as a way of life. Brouillard aims to attract a new kind of player—one drawn to beauty, craftsmanship, and innovation—inviting them to explore, create, and engage in ways they never have before.

To Tristan, gaming is an art form in itself, a medium where imagination takes shape and where the language of artists, design, movement, and storytelling converge. This is Brouillard’s vision. This is its craft.

As the studio stands on the threshold of releasing its debut title, new ideas are already taking form, shaping the foundation of future projects. These upcoming games will immerse players in surreal, dreamlike worlds—both mesmerizing and unsettling, where reality bends and nightmares bleed into beauty. Developed in collaboration with visionary artists, each project embraces a creative process that echoes a Lynchian sensibility, blurring the lines between the familiar and the unknown.

The groundwork has been laid, and what once existed as mere concepts is now poised to become an extraordinary reality. A new world is emerging from the fog.
